Motivation
With the globalization of business and the visualization of enterprises, efficient and effective business process management (BPM) has become increasingly important. The Chinese Conference on Business Process Management provides a research forum for researchers and practitioners in all aspects of BPM including theory, frameworks, methods, techniques, architectures, systems, and empirical findings. We aim to attract innovative research of the highest quality to improve the development and use of BPM technology in China. Through this conference, we aim to set up a bridge between actual industrial requirements and leading edge research outcomes. To this end, we not only welcome original research contributions but also papers reporting on experiences with the application of cutting edge BPM methods, techniques or tools.
Apart from paper presentations, the conference also aims to encourage the exchange of ideas through structured group discussions, system demonstrations, and reports of research groups.
Papers are solicited for the second Chinese Conference on Business Process Management. Both original research papers as well as experience papers reporting on industrial BPM use or applications are welcome. The conference will be held in August 2012 in Beijing and is an initiative of Tsinghua University, Peking University, and Fudan University. The conference will be hosted by the School of Software, Tsinghua University and Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
